1931
It all started when 16-year-old Frank G. Mayer rode his bike around town, hand-painting Sunday specials, daily hours, and weekly sales on business windows. Word of his dependability and hard work quickly spread, and before long, he had no shortage of job requests.
As his business grew, Frank found his passion as an entrepreneur. He hired additional help, set up shop, and in 1931, Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. officially opened its doors. In the 1950s, the company pioneered the use of four-color processing in print and evolved into creating merchandising displays for well-known brands.

Decades passed and Frank continued to modernize. In the 1970s, he recognized the emerging technology of kiosks, and the company developed Atari's first game console and home computer kiosks, followed by award-winning projects for Nintendo and other well-known brands. Frank Mayer's kiosk division was born, and the company has been manufacturing both custom kiosk programs and standard kiosk designs since.

In the 80s, Frank’s son, Frank W., took the reins and transformed the company into the next generation of award-winning merchandising and interactive programs. His intuitive thinking and big picture plans led to the addition of Midwest Assembly, Warehouse, and Distribution, a full-service assembly, warehousing, and packing facility that enabled large-scale production capabilities.
