Wall kiosk with bar code scanner
Client Summary
A respected name in photo concessions, Showtime Pictures provides photography services to attractions across the nation. To meet the growing demand for their entertainment solutions, the company looked to Frank Mayer to manufacture wall-mounted, freestanding, and outdoor kiosks for places like the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca Cola, Graceland, and more.

Customizing Pre-Engineered Designs and Expanding into Outdoor Kiosks

To maintain floorspace, Showtime Pictures opted to start with a wall-mounted kiosk option pre-engineered by Frank Mayer. All kiosks are customized with LED lights that give a soft glow in colors that match each site’s aesthetics.

Later, the company also deployed branded freestanding and outdoor kiosks from Frank Mayer’s line of pre-engineered designs.

Building in Facial Recognition Technology

Kiosks are equipped with high-definition cameras and facial recognition technology to identify and pull up images of visitors exploring the attractions. This not only requires sophisticated cameras and technology, but the kiosks must also incorporate large touchscreens, barcode scanners, and payment devices for guests to purchase photo packages.
