Job Description

The Production Coordinator works closely with internal team members and outside vendors. This position is responsible for negotiating and purchasing various materials/components for interactive kiosks and in-store merchandising displays. This is an onsite position in Grafton, WI

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with vendors to obtain price information, availability, and delivery schedule
  • Make product selections by testing, observing, and/or examining them
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain purchasing records
  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts
  • Monitors progress of project from start to finish, focusing on time constraints, quality of products and actual cost vs. estimated cost
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, vendors and internal team members regarding the status of a project
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a Production/Procurement type role.
  • Knowledge of wood and metal fabrication, plastic fabrication/molding/forming and printing production a must.
  • Proven success working with outside suppliers procuring goods and services preparing schedules as well as developing new supply chains and vendor relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on Quality Control standards.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • An understanding of current and new technology as it pertains to Kiosks and displays, a plus.
