Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. rolls out the Mizuno® modular displays to the sporting goods marketplace - March 14, 2012
Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has teamed up with Mizuno to design and produce a line of modular sporting goods displays to showcase their products at retail. The displays can feature a variety of golf wedges and baseball bats, allowing consumers “hands-on” access to the product.
The Mizuno modular displays are two-sided and feature a compact footprint to maximize their retail impact. The unique design adds dimension to the flexibility of the display and allows for in-store opportunities to cross merchandise any combination of Mizuno products. Additional features of the display include updatable graphic panels, informational flip chart, and custom holders for product placement.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has been awarded a Silver Outstanding Merchandising Achievement Award (OMA) for the PACCAR Parts TRP LED wall display at the 2012 POPAI GlobalShop show. The OMA award recognizes the most innovative and effective in-store media in each industry category at retail.
The PACCAR Parts TRP LED wall display demonstrates replacement lights for trucks, trailers or buses. Placed in TRP Authorized Retailers across North America, the illuminated, wall mounted display is placed in the parts department and assists customers with locating the correct product for their vehicle.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has appointed Ryan Lepianka as the company’s new Creative Director, replacing Alan McGivern, who retired. A graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Lepianka will be in charge of the design, model shop and engineering departments. Lepianka brings over 13 years of design experience, including award-winning displays to interactive kiosks, for Fortune 500 retail and brand-marketing clients.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. will start the New Year by unveiling a new look for its corporate identity - January 11, 2012
The changes include a new corporate logo, redesigned company website and overall re-branding effort. The newly designed logo features softer lines, typeface and style to appeal across all client demographics. The overall look reflects today’s Frank Mayer and Associates, a client-driven, creative, responsive and thorough organization that continues to expand its presence in the retail marketplace.
“We are updating our visual identity to meet the rapidly changing face of retail and our entry in new markets. Our strong client-focused commitment remains the same, having consistently delivered successful results throughout our 80 year history,” according to third generation president, Mike Mayer.
The company website, www.frankmayer.com, will go live today and the new logo will be applied on all corporate and marketing identity materials. This process included a review of comments clients have used to describe Frank Mayer and Associates. Rising to the top of the list were three words; creative, responsive, and thorough. These words have been incorporated into a theme line for the new logo, and will also be featured in various company branding statements and applications.
In addition, Frank Mayer and Associates will continue to research, develop, and provide the industry with a variety of white papers and articles dealing with current subjects and make them available at no cost on the new web site as well as through their online trade media advertising.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. introduces retail ready-to-go items - November 15, 2011
To better meet the needs of retailers and brand marketers, Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has developed and introduced several “Retail-Ready” items to enhance the retail selling experience for both consumers and retail personnel.
These items include field-tested Security Cabinets, a unique SlideBuy™ Interactive Shelf Merchandising System, and a Tablet PC Floor Display. Inspired by common challenges facing many retailers today, these units reflect Frank Mayer proprietary merchandising design and engineering innovations, and can be branded for a wide variety of retail situations and needs.
The Security Cabinets feature glass doors that slide on rollers mounted on both the top and bottom tracks. Designed with additional built-in flexibility, these units can be easily mounted to or sit on all the standard retail fixture gondola systems. Available in several sizes, one style features a vertical transparent “roll-top” door, fashioned from durable thermoplastic polyester (PETG) panels.
The SlideBuy Shelf Merchandising System makes it possible to put a tablet PC on a track that slides along the front of a retail shelf. The result is a state-of-the-art interactive presence that can be moved to access product or restock the shelf with product. This system also effectively secures the tablet PC, which can also be branded by developing a custom bezel to surround it. Designed to accommodate most tablet PC computers on the market, this unit brings an interactive message to the shelf, in-line, without disrupting product placement.
Finally, the portable Tablet PC Floor Display offers several opportunities for branding, using either temporary or permanent approaches and materials. 48 inches tall, this versatile display has a very modest 18” by 14” footprint, and can effectively secure a wide variety of tablet PC’s, including the iPad.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. reached a recent milestone with the production of a new series of LEGO Display Mini-Figures, marking 20 different versions of this popular display since introducing the LEGO Construction Worker in 1999.
Developed primarily for the LEGO European Market, the latest Display Mini-Figures include a Fireman, Policeman, Robber, Diver, Shark, Ninjago, Sensi, Racer, Garmadon, and Santa which replicate actual characters in the LEGO sets. Fashioned from colorful, durable plastic components, they provide a unique in-store branding presence and generate important awareness and traffic. These Mini-Figures are available in two sizes, 21 and 39 inches high, and feature moveable arms, legs, and heads so they can be posed, to meet the merchandising needs in a variety of retail environments.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has joined forces with PACCAR Parts to complete the TRP LED wall display.
PACCAR Parts' TRP LED wall display merchandises replacement lights for trucks, trailers or buses. Placed in TRP Authorized Retailers across North America, the illuminated, wall mounted display is placed in the parts department and assists customers with locating the correct product for their vehicle.

Self-service motor vehicle kiosks create customer friendly access to DMV registration - August 23, 2011
Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has collaborated with Intellectual Technology, Inc. to develop self-service kiosks in a variety of Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) branches. The DMV branches have been in states such as Nevada, California and South Dakota.
ITI self-service kiosks provide self assisted, full-service capabilities at these DMV sites. Each ITI self-contained terminal houses fully integrated systems which allow consumers to complete a variety of DMV transactions. California DMV consumers have embraced the kiosks and the available convenience and secured features offered by the self-service terminals.
Produced by Frank Mayer and Associates, each self-service DMV kiosk is protected by a sturdy bank ATM-style enclosure, and engages customers in a user-friendly environment incorporating touch screen technology with high resolution graphics. Using graphics and audio instructions to assist the customer, instructions are provided to consumers with directions on how they can process the available individual transactions. These DMV kiosks employ various security features such as tilt switches, intrusion detection switches, separate locking compartments, individual locking devices, a level one safe, CCD camera, and the ability to interface with building and other exterior alarm systems to provide the highest level of security.
All transactions on the kiosk are processed using debit and credit cards, cash or checks. Units with cash acceptance capabilities can provide paper and coin change.
Terri Carter of the Nevada DMV stated, “The Nevada DMV Self-Service terminals have been extremely successful, far exceeding our usage expectations. We have consistently received positive feedback from consumers on the ease of use, customer friendly screens and transaction time speed.”

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. worked with MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. to develop two new cabinetry selection center display programs, branded Diamond and Diamond Vibe.
The Diamond and Diamond Vibe Selection Centers showcase a variety of cabinet door selections including available styles, species and finishes. Placed in independent dealer locations, the selection centers showcase a variety of cabinetry choices for newly built or remodeled homes. Designed and produced by Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. the selection centers have a custom hanging system for ease of selection and a transitional style which fits well with a furniture look and appeal.
The selection centers have product information panels with the Diamond Selection Center boasting an optional 10” touch-button LCD monitor with four panel touch buttons. Streaming four videos, including 2011 new products, brand story, color, and storage, consumers are drawn to the display for more information.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has designed and produced a new Generator Display Stand for Yamaha Motor Corporation. Placed in Yamaha Motor dealers and specialty sporting goods retailers, this display merchandises three Yamaha Generators, including a variety of key accessories.
The Yamaha generator unit was engineered to display and secure selected generator models in retail environments, within an accessible, compact floor footprint. Each Yamaha Generator display includes product fact cards for each generator model, identifying important features of each.
These permanent displays also include an optional interactive component, in the form of a compact mpeg player, featuring a 7" screen and an updatable selection of educational videos for each model. Accessories for the generators are available for purchase, and are conveniently located on the side of the display.

Located in Hudson News stores, this interactive charging, digital display and information kiosk provides a safe location for consumers to charge mobile phones and stay up-to-date on current events.

Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. has joined forces with Touch Revolution and Nanonation to announce the launch of a new retail multi-touch demonstration. This innovative technology features the latest smart phone and tablet device multi-touch applications available for any retail environment.
The multi-touch demonstration consists of a floor standing kiosk which features a dual multi-touch screen sketch book concept. Content is viewed easily thru a swipe of finger to page thru a variety of information.
